Age Equivalent Tables

At GL Assessment we undertake an ongoing analysis of our tests and assessments, to ensure that the data included is as up-to-date as possible. Since publication of the YARC Primary suite of assessments in March 2009 we have done further work to refine data for the Early Reading tests. This has resulted in the updating of the Age Equivalent scores for Early Reading and revised tables are available here.

The Score Conversion Tool has been updated and reports run will include refreshed data.

YARC Score Conversion Tools

 

To help teachers with the scoring of all parts of the YARC tests, we have created three programs that convert scores instantly.

Firstly input student details along with the name of the school and the assessor. Then input details of tests taken and raw scores and press Create Report and score conversion will be done automatically and instantly.

All programs allow teachers to add comments and/or observations.

Each program has a Help section that gives more information – for example about saving and correcting reports that have been generated.
